Emily is 9!

It has been 9 quick years since we were driven by the Quanbecks through the cobblestone roads of Antananarivo to the Poly Clinique d’Ilafy for Emily’s birth. Her birthday started with a sleepover with her neighbor friend Sarah Kate, only to awake to fresh Dunkin Donuts for breakfast (Thanks, Mom!). She joined another friend for a morning of laser tag – a great thrill for our maturing girl.
We celebrated her birthday with a quiet family gathering in the afternoon, opening presents from the Grandparents and Mom & Dad. 
Ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins was the highlight for her two little brothers. It always is! Next weekend is Emily’s kid birthday party with her friends. More photos are available on our SmugMug site.
