{"id":76,"date":"2008-10-18T17:47:30","date_gmt":"2008-10-18T21:47:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thomaskrohn.com\/family\/wordpress\/?p=76"},"modified":"2008-10-19T09:18:06","modified_gmt":"2008-10-19T13:18:06","slug":"life-on-loan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.thomaskrohn.com\/family\/wordpress\/2008\/10\/18\/life-on-loan\/","title":{"rendered":"Life on Loan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/takmad.smugmug.com\/gallery\/6293920_u77yz#396720569_NEGp8\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/takmad.smugmug.com\/photos\/396720569_NEGp8-S-1.jpg\" align=\"left\" height=\"133\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a>\u00a0Our church, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvcl.org\" target=\"_blank\">Northview Christian Life Church<\/a>, is completing a 6 week spiritual growth series.\u00a0 It has been a great series that has challenged all of us to the heart in how we use our lives, our Life on Loan.\u00a0 The series is based on a book of the same title, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Living-Life-Loan-Finding-Intersections\/dp\/0784718555\" target=\"_blank\">Life on Loan<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend is a big milestone in the series for our church.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/takmad.smugmug.com\/gallery\/6293920_u77yz#396729298_opQPX\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/takmad.smugmug.com\/photos\/396729298_opQPX-S-1.jpg\" align=\"right\" height=\"200\" width=\"130\" \/><\/a>About 2200 people from our church, in small groups from 8-20 people, are reaching out to serve our greater Hamilton and Marion County communities.\u00a0 Our group teamed up with another group to help an elderly woman in Indianapolis clean up her yard and paint her house.\u00a0 The other groups are reaching out to some 50 plus areas in need as an act of service.\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/takmad.smugmug.com\/photos\/396728837_5GqZ4-S-1.jpg\" align=\"left\" height=\"150\" width=\"100\" \/>Romans 12:1 states &#8220;<span id=\"en-NIV-28232\" class=\"sup\"><\/span>Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God&#8217;s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God\u2014this is your spiritual act of worship.&#8221;\u00a0 Northview&#8217;s worship this weekend is 2200 people being servants, being a blessing to others.<\/p>\n<p>Additional photos our service project can be seen on our <a href=\"http:\/\/takmad.smugmug.com\/gallery\/6293920_u77yz#396720569_NEGp8\" target=\"_blank\">SmugMug site<\/a>.\u00a0 You can also see videos of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/lifeonloan\" target=\"_blank\">Life on Loan projects on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Our church, Northview Christian Life Church, is completing a 6 week spiritual growth series.\u00a0 It has been a great series that has challenged all of us to the heart in how we use our lives, our Life on Loan.\u00a0 The series is based on a book of the same title, &#8220;Life on Loan&#8220;.
