Pokagon State Park

A couple of weekends ago, the Krohn boys took a trip to the NE corner of Indiana to Pokagon State Park.  Joshua’s cub scout troup enjoyed a day of tobagonning and ice fishing.  A 2.5 hour drive from home, Pokagon is famous for its tobagon run.  A man-made course with refrigerated tracks, it is quite […]

Joshua Kindergarten Baseball

Spring is in full swing as are spring/summer sports.  Joshua is in his first year of baseball and loving that his team has friends from his kindergarten class.  It is a good group of boys and the coaches do a nice job of fun and instruction.  Nothing too serious here. For Joshua’s first game, I […]

Yesterday was a big day for Joshua.  With great determination he and dad took off his training wheels of his bike and gave this biking thing a serious try.   I haven’t seen him grin like this for a long time.  As I write this on a rainy day, Joshua is asking if he can ride […]

A snow day today.  School cancelled.  Roads blocked and 12 inches of snow on the ground.  Even dad got to stay at home and work from his office.  The kids were dressed and ready to go outside – even before they had breakfast.  Ahhh, if it were only that easy on school days. Our cul-de-sac […]
